Article XII

Bylaws

This article establishes process for creating bylaws to govern the functioning of GEO.

Proposed Changes

There is currently no article in the constitution pertaining to the establishment of bylaws and this amendment creates such an article.

Why are these changes are recommended?

Bylaws can be created to maintain consistency in the way that membership policy is implemented by the Stewards Council without binding GEO to do specific things because it is mandated in our constitution. Many of the specifics that were suggested for removal in other sections will be written into the bylaws under the proposed changes.
